He plays a system defense. The corners are open because our players are leaving them open to help out. Mack doesn’t want them to help out and stay on their man. It’s hard not to follow the ball. Have to be defensive minded and BB smart.

We r not a top 10 team period. I said it earlier this year and am more convinced now. Fl st is proving much better in all phases
Way too many bad passes leading to turnovers and they are being made by players who should know better.
My thoughts with this team have always been they will be much better in Feb. However they needed to win this game today . And they are not going to. Enjoy
We’re too soft inside and way too many turnovers as a result of not having a true PG.
We have to get going soon or we won’t win this game FSU is to good. This isn’t one of those situations where if we let them hang around they will beat us. This is one of those situations where we have to play better to win this game.
I don’t think you even know what you meant. You say Kimble is more athletic than McMahon - I say neither are athletic - and then you bring up some low key old school racist terms used to describe white players.
None of your argument makes a bit of sense.
Not only that but look at who he has on the court playing it. Perry and McMahon, which tells me Mack trusts them more on defense.
Lots of open 3s and they are sticking them. Pretty clean looks everywhere for FSU. They are solid, Cards still trying to figure it all out. I think FSU is shooting over 50% from the floor. That's maybe the biggest problem for this UofL team.
There's a reason why typically poor shooting teams have great nights against us. Our version of the pack line defense allows way too many open looks.
The size differential in the back court is substantial here. Walker 6-5.Forrest 6-6. They are getting whatever they want. They are now a combined 15-21.
FSU scores and they are tough minded. Our players just aren’t tough. We have small guards and they are taking advantage. I’m not sure if they will even learn from losing two in a row. Mack better dig in and figure this out because ACC play isn’t getting any easier.
It has been a glaring mismatch. They have been scoring at will and the Cards have had no answer.

I’ve seen FSU play a couple of times this year and they have games like this. They have games where they don’t miss and games where they can’t hit.
One thing we don’t have to worry about is peaking too early. This team still has a lot of potential so I am not giving up on them. I am puzzled about Nwora, how can he play so bad against a average team like sUcK and play so good against a good team like FSU?
UK ran guy after guy at him and never let him be more than arm’s length from a defender all game. Nwora got frustrated because he couldn’t get the ball and took himself out of the game.
