I actually don't know anything about uks team this year or really the last few years. The only player I know is Oscar and that's mostly because of the huge NIL deal he received.
Like others have said, I'm sure one of Cals main strategies is to neutralize Ellis with multiple and/or long defenders. Take out Ellis and this Cards team will be severely knee capped....well moreso than usual. Others will have to step up big time just to keep it close.

Not enough lipstick on earth to disguise this pig, it’s our worst team since I’ve been following. (1971-1972). I could live with it is we saw any progress at all, but I don’t think that’s in the offing.
If we could see anything more on defense this would be a closer game. Uk passing exactly where they want, getting to any spots they want, and getting easy shots all game long.

Have to give the Cards a little credit because the lead could have easily ballooned to 25-30 in the 1st half. First segment of the 2nd half is big as always.

Yeah, Better defense and rebounding and this is a game. Cards with 2 assists in the 1st half. Ellis needs some help. He’s baller.
