The obligatory post about 2013.
On Feb. 9th 2013, we lost a heartbreaking 5OT game at Notre Dame.
That game turned everything around. They didn’t lose another game after that night. 16 straight wins and a national title later, those guys became legends.
That place will always be the place our title run began that season.

It drives me crazy when Nwora throws up shots when he is not set. Anytime he is set ...its almost automatic that it is going in. Keep playing good defense and rebound the ball and UofL will win this game

Absolutely great to pull out the win but if Mack cant use the video of this to get his team to play more consistently, then we’re in trouble with the remaining schedule.
Agree there was a lot the Cards did wrong in this game. Second half defense was horrid. Just glad he can teach it from a close win instead of a crushing loss.

Hit the nail on the head. We seemingly can’t get consistent play from anyone at this point in the season, even Nwora who didn’t show up against UK. He irks me when he doesn’t put a hand up and let’s his man go right around them and then we were lucky on that loose ball. Instead of going after it I guess he thought he was going to get a fast break layup.

Seems like the team plays soft. Except for Sutton, there is no one I see, that at least on the outside could care if they lose or win. Are the players taking CCM low key attitude onto the floor? Would like to see a little more fire from the players and the coach.

Enoch really got dominated today. It's just tough on Mack because his top 2 guys are just so inconsistent. Sutton saved them late. That was a good win considering how that 2nd half played out.
Any win at South Bend is a good win. I usually just write in an L as soon as I see it on the schedule, awesome win, regardless of the end of game excitement!
