Cards win the first set 25-21 impressive play on both sides especially regarding the servers. There was only one bad serve and it wasn’t on the Cards. Kentucky lost the first set but had some momentum going for them to end the set. Hopefully that doesn’t carry over to the next set.
They need to work with Cabello on her sets they are way to low causing our players to hit into the net.
Cards lose the 2nd set 25-21 we really didn’t play good that set until the end of the set.
They need to pull Cabello her sets are killing us they are way to low causing to either hit into the net or having to sift touch it over.
Cards down 20-10 Coach Meske has pulled most of the starters. It looks like he is conceding this set and resting the players for the final set.
We got drubbed 25-12 this is going to be interesting to see how we can recover from this mentally. He pulled 4 starters midway through the match hoping to rest them up. I hope his strategy works but momentum is definitely against us.
We lose the final set 15-7 we really looked awful a lot of bad sets but that is not the only problem. We need to put this behind us and move forward. I don’t understand why we put so much emphasis on having everything going through Peterson. Cressee and Blackshear were not very involved in the offense.
Hopefully they’ll turn things around. To me, they looked out of place and tired. Go Cards!
