I think there was ample evidence that HVL's average of 40 minutes on the floor was not only intentional on the part of CJW, but her 4th quarter production in those same 40 minute games proved she was not losing either her strength or energy. As most can witness the struggles that she has experienced over these last 2 or 3 games have nothing to do with being tired, as her missed shots have occurred early in those contests. All shooters experience periodic slumps and Hailey is not immune from this anymore than anyone else. Interestingly, Liz Dixon experienced it as well, but seemed to find herself against the Orange.

Agree with Kozmas ..... there is no indication of any chemistry issues that I can see; in fact, judging from the enthusiasm in the 4th quarter at Syracuse on the floor and on the bench suggests this team is highly motivated and encouraging one another.

Who said she was bad? She started the season 2nd team pre season All American. She will NOT finish as a 2nd Team All American.

Her leadership and body language have been off this year. She’s playing like she’s not having fun.

I hope she lights up the last month of the season. Hopefully sitting out (last qtr of Syracuse) and seeing what her teammates can do changes her approach to the team.

And hopefully Coach can finally realize he doesn’t have to play her 40 min. She can come out when she’s playing bad and reset her game and refocus from the bench. This should have been done 20 games ago. This will take pressure off of her for thinking she has to carry the team. She needs to lead the team. This doesn’t mean taking bad shots and shooting bricks when the games tight, she’s good enough to get into the lane and dish to players who have better shots. This far along in her career she should be a playmaker that makes those around her better and making them pay when they lay off her.

She is a much better player than what’s been displayed this season to this point. Yes, she can score and can continue to score, she just needs to make better decisions. Coach needs to hold her accountable like he’s held every other player this season. She may be a practice beast but it’s all not carried over to games.

Either Kosmos is right that you have some bias against HVL or you simply don't follow enough basketball in general to see how important she is. We could have threads and threads of things other players don't do right but somehow you keep wanting to point the finger at Hailey.

You two are comical. I don’t see either of you jumping on the collision course defending your thoughts on the topic of the women’s team.

If you related to Hailey it’s not personal. It’s ok to have a down year, she still has a SR year to recover.

Ha, neither you or any of the minions will shut me up. Micale Cunningham was named to every award out there, she’s deserves to be mentioned.

HVL is a good player just having a tough season. You guys can’t seem to admit that.

She is averaging over 20 points a game and clueless you thinks she is having a bad year. I asked before who do you think is the best player on the team is but you never answered the question.

HVL plays about 38 minutes per game, handles the ball almost every offensive set and is the #1 target of every teams defense. Sure, that will equate to some turnovers and below par shooting at times. Now if you want to
talk about those blue shoes ......
