Actually when people change his name to Dope or Poop or complain because he is Mormon or attack anyone who even remotely thinks that he did something right, it is personal. Calling someone who is even somewhat supportive a popette or as one person told me that I was nauseating. Yeah, it is personal. All the denials in the world don't change that fact.

That’s also called mismanaged roster, recruiting, lapses in hirings, all the things he was not brought here to do. Lowe is not a good PG, look at the data. If Lowe was good he would be retained, he’s not. He’s not efficient, he’s a clunker, he padded some PPG stats on an awful Pitt team. It was a blessing in disguise he was hurt. Lowe was on the floor during some of our worst basketball of the season. As we see, Kam didn’t help at all and we were blown out yet again with him. This team was a sinking ship full of players that don’t belong at UK. Like I said, “we lost our PG” in a vacuum without any context sounds legit. Applying context it doesn’t. We have the data on Lowe, he’s not a quality guard. And he’s gone for that reason.
Those things aren’t personal unless someone is soft as Charmaine. Calling Pope “dope” isn’t something I do because I just don’t care enough, but it’s about basketball not who he is on a personal level. So no it’s not personal at all. Most people would take a picture with Pope if they passed him even if they don’t care for him as a coach. I’ve spoken to Pope several times this season, he was great with the kids and we didn’t get personal lol. This is a message board about basketball. It’s actually kind of impressive how he struck out on everyone last season. The only time we got a commit was someone no one was talking about and suddenly they just committed as if we could only get guys no one else was going after. Trilly was like 100% on predictions but was a good 0% when predicting players to Kentucky.
