He went back and looked at how the guys on the SEC top 25 players ranked coming out of HS. That's a little misleading to me, but either way. I think it leads some credibility to recruiting services.

He says McPhee and Powe weren't highly recruited, but that wasn't the case. Both were HIGHLY recurited coming out of JUCO or prep school, I remember McPhee trying to get in at UGA and UF.

Anyway, pretty good read..

Take the top 150 or whatever and tell where they are at this stage in their career. I would expect the top 25 players in this year's SEC to have been highly rated players coming out of high school, but that's three or four signing classes for them to pull from. I wish he would take (for instance) the 07 and 08 top 150 and break them all down. Let's just see how accurate ESPN really is.
