After coming in my store this morning this LSU fan tells me "man they (bama) shouldn't even have been in the BCS game anyway. They didn't win our confetence or even our division. How can Saban stand up there before the season started on ESPN & say 'u shouldn't be playing for a championship if u can't win a conference championship game' and then act like they belong? Besides we DTILL had the same record they had and we went 1-1 against them. To me we should do a best of 3 now." Lol, be ready dawgs. The system IS flawed & this game did nothing but prove it.

After that anal rape they got last night I can't believe LSU would want anywhere near Alabama for a very long time. Saban bent them over and didn't even give a hint of a reach around in that game.

it takes a special kind of rationalization for some of these 'fans' to get through their day. It always makes me wonder what the rest of their lives are like. I've always assumed they're probably not so good.

I thought Bama was the better team the first time they played but due to some turnovers and some odd decisions in the kicking game they lost.

Last night there was no such luck for LSU.

Saban just outcoached Miles and it wasn't even close. LSU is extremely talented and so is Bama, but the difference is gameplanning and LSU didn't appear to have any, which 9 times out of 10, doesn't matter because their team is so much better than the other team that schemes don't matter. Well last night they faced a team without their best WR and just got throttled. Even though the score was 21-0, that really doesn't tell the whole story as to how they got Beechered pretty much all game.

I know one LSU player thrilled with the game plan was Russell Shepherd who was in 3 plays. Talk about an extreme waste of talent.

Also, for a Senior QB playing in his last game before the charges against him get reinstated (halfway kidding after last night's performance) he played like a guy that didn't want to get hurt. Im not sure I have seen a QB run the option worse. Also, he looked to blame anyone and everyone after each play. Just looked like an a-hole the entire game, and when fans are clamoring for Jarrett freaking Lee, you know you have played like dog ****.

At the end of the day, it won't slow down the LSU machine, their recruiting is too good and their defense only has like 2 seniors on it, and they are replaceable.

It looked like, and Herbstreet said, they planned on running the option and getting to the edges in the running and passing game. It was obvious after about two series that wasn't going to work. Nothing else they tried did either. That was just a defensive performance for the ages last night by Alabama. A lot of pro teams couldn't have moved the ball on them playing like that.

they win based on how much more talented they are than everybody else EXCEPT Bama. Even when they played Oregon they were SO much more talented. Mullen understands that & tries to minimize their possesions & opporitunities for them to create turnovers. Saban used the same game plan w/ FAR better talent & that's what u saw last night. Think about it this way almost everybody they beat they were able to win the turnover battle w/ & when LSU gets T.O's on defense they have enough speed to immediately make those points (i.e Honey Badger or Peterson before him).

please no more offensive genius strategies by Mullen against LSU and Bama. I'm so 17ing sick of losing this way. Try putting it all out there for once.

What about when when both of them thought they'd "air it out" ot "put it all out there" (like u said) in 07 & LSU smashed Vegas & Hening's *** to pieces as he threw 3-4 pick 6's and in a game where we were an 18pt dog @ home we lose by 45? Yeah, let's go balls to the wall & throw 35 times s game & watch Honey Badger or Reid score TD's while we put our defense in a 17'd up position ALL NIGHT LONG! Face it dude, we don't have the caliber athletes LSU or Bama has year in and year out. In order to beat them we're going to have to widdle & grind the game down to 2-3 possesions at the end in order to win.

in all fairness, lsu did win the west and the sec in 07. and lsu needed a string of crazy losses the last weekend to make it. whereas after the 11/5 game, bama was already in a position where they really only needed okie st to lose in order to be in the game. arguably oregon or stanford winning out and winning the pac 12 could have jumped them, but given okie st couldn't jump them and they won the big 12 (#1 conf according to CPUs fyi), i doubt they would have. bama got a pretty unprecedented weak punishment for losing a game in november even before the okie st loss.

it begins & ends w/ Woody & Croom. I agree SOME play calling has been suspect, but not in those 2 games. Nope, I trust a guy who has experience in those departments. So go ahead and be the dumbass next to me at the game screaming "air it out" or "throw the damn ball!" It's who we are dude. Mullen has forgotten more about football than u know. Thanks.

how many times is it gonna take for you to realize when you play not to lose you always end up losing.
