Let us remember that Lebby isn’t the best judge of quarterbacks. He stuck with Blake Shapen who is now selling insurance for way too long last year.

tv announcers says Lebby is crazy for not using his timeouts before halftime with lsu backed up so much. Bad head coaching

Stop being obtuse. 17 off
I'm being obtuse? You're the one trying to read more in to a situation than what's there. He's not on the injury report and he's not getting snaps. That means the better quarterback is playing in Lebby's eyes. It's no different than people screaming about JJ Hill. If he was injured, he'd be on the injury report, and if he was worth a damn he'd be playing. It's a simple as that.

Puckett beat him out. I don't know why it's so hard for some of our fans to understand this.
Right. And because he beat him out he got the majority, if not all, of the 1st team snaps in practice. Some folks apparently would like for us to play the lesser QB who is also worse prepared.

I don’t mind it either but Lebby has consistently taken his timeouts home with him instead of using them as teachable moments

The goal line play calling wasn’t terrible.

first down Wilson has to win that matchup and get in or at least cut up and get to the 1.

2nd down was a good ball

3rd down OL gailure

4th down wr couldn’t get enough separation to turn upfield

He does need to do a better job there. But in this case, I'm glad he didn't use them. When you don't score on that last drive, it's best to get off the field as quickly as possible without giving up anything else.

There's no reason to use timeouts when you're trying to get hell out of there without getting more people hurt. He'll I'd pull the starters after LSU scores again.

There is just no freaking way Puckett beat out a 5th year senior with 2 years sec experience. I know Swann is mediocre at best. But there’s still no way Puckett beat him out

I rarely bet and never bet against State, but I’m legitimately mad at myself for not taking the easy money on this one. There was very little chance we’d be in a competitive game without QB1 and RB1 and this is going pretty much exactly as I thought. Puckett has been better than expected and we still couldn’t put it in the end zone.
