With all these upsets, if LSU beats Arkansas then they will go to the SEC Title game, but Bama will get a bye to National Championship. That doesn't seem fair at all. LSU should be the one getting the bye.</p>
What if LSU beats Arkansas and then loses to UGA? Is the SEC championship pointless and LSU/Bama plays for it all regardless? Does Bama jump LSU and play LSU? Or does Bama jump LSU and play someone else?
if there is a 3 way tie - SEC looks at BCS standings to determine top 2 then looks at head to head between those teams. You would think if LSU loses - Bama and Arkansas will be 1 and 2 and Bama will make the SECCG b/c they would have beaten Arkansas.
Bama really should geta bye because they beat Arkansas, but then they still have to play another game against UGA while Arkansas gets in without having to play an extra game. Either way, the fact that 3 teams from the same division could end up 1, 2, and 3 is insane.I never thought that could happen.
Does Bama still get in because they didn't lose the 13th game?
Is there a rule that prevents non-championship teams from participating in the championship game? These questions aren't thought about often by myself being an MSU fan.
