These were the half-time stats from last Saturday.

Looking at this and the game who would you have played in the 3rd quarter?

TR did not see any time until the game was pretty much over in the 4th...

Haven't decided yet. My point was that everyone clamors for Prescott, they get him, then they want Russell. Our fans are too stupid to pick up on the fact that this just happens over and over and over at MSU.

What I'd ideally like to see is for Russell to go out a hero so for once the QB curse doesn't rear its head. But he won't. He will suck, get booed, Prescott will be the hero until his senior year, when he'll be booed and Staley/Fitzgerald will be the hero, etc etc etc

I think Tyler should have gotten some snaps in the 3rd quarter and especially after we went down by 12. But I like Dak getting the most snaps overall.

What are you talking about? I have been in the TR at QB from day 1.
My problem is Mullen did not change to more of a pro set and put a FB in to block...

Related question - did the 3rd quarter offense not have more of a "2012 playcalling" kind of feel?

Haven't seen anyone else mention it, and I did not watch a replay. But for some reason I thought the formations and plays looked like 2012 / OK State all over again.

Once Russell went in and was successful, it's a legitimate question from anyone, including those who had called for Prescott, to ask why Russell did not stay in the game.

How about we approach it like we should approach kickers. You put points up, you stay. You dont, next in line and just rotate back and forth?

In my opinion TR earned the right to start the 2nd half. Especially if Dan is going to go with the Hot hand..

If we are going to play 2 QB's let's play 2 QB's, even swapping them in and out in the same series.
