Anyone with common sense knows the coaches and players have a relationship. They are going to talk.
The players may or may not go to lsu, it's just the nature of the sport of now. If I'm them, I'd live in the here and now and worry about next year, in a few weeks.

I haven’t read it, but I know two things to be fact:
1. There was tampering

Not surprising. She's out of her comfort zone actually trying to report things. ESPN puts her front and center as this college football bracket expert and all she does is state obvious things about the rankings. But she's female so there's that.
What I got from it was UM let LSU know if they didn’t get Weis Jr back for the rest of the playoffs they were going to file tampering charges against LSU. So Kiffin sent Weis back to Oxford.
I saw an article where Trinidad Chambliss was asked if there were any improper conversations going on, and the answer was "no". My perspective is this, Ole Miss has chosen to let coaches that have resigned continue to interact and coach their players in hopes of winning the NC. When you make a deal with the devil, you get what you get.
I feel pretty sure the OM players are already familiar with Lane and Charlie. They have some sort of relationship already. They will go or not go regardless. Personally I would have let Lanecoach. Winning a natty is bigger than losing a few players you might lose anyway

What’s funny is Ole Miss is upset that Kiffin is tampering now that he is at LSU. He tampered the whole time he was at Ole Miss. did they turn themselves in?
Or the coaches knew the players well enough that the one guy 'not' having improper conversations is the starting QB who would be loyal to his current team, and then would end up telling the truth in the interview.
CORRECT. They knew what he was the whole time he was there. They all knew what he was doing. Now, he's a cheater and everything is not fair.
It seems to have worked out OK for them, no matter what happens in Tempe.
INCORRECT - The cheaters are multiple generations of Ole Miss boosters. Kiffin was just along for the ride. They have been cheating since Vaught was coaching despite the rules changing so much that the game is not recognizable.
Since my college years - they cheated with Brewer, they cheated with Tuberville, they cheated with Cutcliffe, they cheated with Orgeron, they cheated with Nutt, they cheated with Freez, they cheated with Luke, they cheated with Kiffin, & they will keep cheating with Golding.

After reading an actual article, Walker Jones, head of the NIL collective, is accusing the OM coaches who are leaving for LSU with tampering with players trying to recruit them to LSU. It's not working, because Chambliss, Lacy and the all-world kicker have all announced they are staying at Ole Miss. Charlie Weis and running backs coach Kevin Smith will coach for OM against Miami, while the two other coaches (TE coach/co-offensive coordinator Joe Cox and WR coach/passing game coordinator George McDonald) who are heading to LSU will not be coaching against Miami. So, draw your own conclusions about who is alleged to be tampering.
They are now probably thinking the same thing, but at the time they were all wrapped up in the moment that it was a you’re either with us or against us type of thing.
What I got out of it was ole miss screamed tampering (without evidence) but had to back off so they could get coaches back. Just goes to show they know their team is built on offense yet they think they can maintain where they are with the defensive staff. You think they would have learned by watching what happened to us. I can only hope the same thing happens. Only their administration will make sure they don't fall as far down.
Do you know of a college football program that does not "cheat"? It's an integral part of the sport and always has been. I would hate to find out my team was not being innovative or competitive in the industry.
I sure hope we’re not cheating. I’d be ashamed of these results otherwise.

It's like the line in the SMU 30 for 30. I can't remember who said it, but somebody said "TCU was paying players, and they were winning 3 games a year!"
I am not seeing how we disagree...? Of course they are cheaters, now as always.
