Is it good or bad for us if Wisconsin beats them? I'd rather beat a higher ranked LSU, but I would definitely take whatever helped because we have only beaten them once in my lifetime.

An early LSU loss of course will take some prestige away from the MSU-LSU game. But if it does happen, hopefully Wisconsin provides the blueprint for how to beat them. Like you said, a win again them is overdue.

The game is in Baton Rouge. I'd rather lose to a higher ranked team.

I want then to lose. That fanbase isn't too far from turning on Miles. If they drop that game, it might be the final straw for a lot of them.

I don't know how close their fanbase is to turning on Les. But I do know he's the winningest coach they've ever had. And that's even if you exclude Saban's first rebuilding season there. They'll be good again this fall and they will beat Wisconsin.

Well, their projected starting QB was tweeting about Dak being his role model yesterday... So there's that...

Wisconsin isn't beating them. LSU doesn't lose nonconference games in the regular season -- and Wisconsin is replacing all 7 of their front 7 I believe...

But they aren't competing for titles. Nor will they until they stop bleeding Jrs to the NFL.

9-3 might be better than history, but, not unlike MSU, a team today can fail to meet alot of goals while out performing historical averages.

Of course I'd rather beat the highest ranked LSU team possible, but the reality is I don't care if they are 3-0 or 0-3 going into that game, I just want a WIN. I'll take every possible lucky break imaginable to get 10+ wins this year. Let the detractors worry about saying how lucky we get.

But for the record, I don't think Wisconsin has a shot. LSU doesn't lose non-conference regular season games.

My impression is the opposite. At first, the LSU fans I knew took every boneheaded decision made and every blade of grass eaten as a sign of the beginning of the end. While I think they are still less than happy with some of his performance, I think he's been doing it long enough that they expect the good results to keep coming. They'll turn on him quickly if he has an 8 win season, but I don't think they are worried about the grass eater destroying the program while winning 10 games with Saban's recruits anymore.

I think LSU wins

It may be a low scoring game, but Fournette will run all day long against the Badger defense. Lsu will be fine this year.

For MSU, of course it is good that Wisconsin wins. That would probably mean that LSU's new QB's are awful.

LSU will probably win ugly like they did against Iowa in the bowl game.
