"Greg Byrne confirms that MSU will play UAB in 2013 (at B'ham) and '14 (at Starkville). They're already set for a game in B'ham in '11" - per 2HD

I dont think that is anywhere near LT'esque...... In today's game when you are like us, you cant afford paying a million dollars to every non-conference game, so going to Memphis, UAB and Tulane are the next best options.

on the team right now. Looney, Prince, Melichar, Walters, Bell, Havens, Cook, Hanrahan, Z. Smith(yikes), Sosebee. We've made some in roads over here and looking to make more. The local boys i.e. Bama, are going nationwide and leaving the 3 and 4 stars in the cold so I like coming here to play and recruit. I just hope UAB is still around by then.

I think the one in 2011 might actually be the return game from the game in Starkville in 2007.

Also, Texas played at Wyoming last week. It's getting harder for everyone to schedule games.

Edit to say: KV cleared it up. As usual.

State will play UAB at Legion Field in 2013 and in Starkville in 2014. The two schools already had future dates planned in the schedule: 2010 in Starkville, 2011 and 2013 in Birmingham.

but I wouldve liked a 2 for one or 3 for 2 even. I think they're a good opponent for us

Hope I'm still working for the Green Monster so I can get that employee discount on tickets.

is not a bad for us. Even if we do home and home. They are all close driving distances and two of them already have MSU fanbases: Memphis and Birmingham.

Texas at Wyoming
Colorado at Toledo
Maryland at MTSU

Forget what you once knew. With the 12th game, BCS schools are going to travel to non-BCS schools. Just get used to it and quit whining about it or blaming it on LT or whatever.

they are C-USA. Birmingham is no New Orleans or Memphis as far as things to do, but not a bad trip at all either.
