Serious question:
Where do you guys look to know when these events are happening? As a cable cutter who is overly absorbed in my kid's middle school sports, I never know these are coming until after they happen. I know that my daughter would love to see them and I'm just trying to see if there is a spot to get a heads up.

Where do you guys look to know when these events are happening? As a cable cutter who is overly absorbed in my kid's middle school sports, I never know these are coming until after they happen. I know that my daughter would love to see them and I'm just trying to see if there is a spot to get a heads up.

Get your X algorithm good. Just stuff you are interested in. Block/mute certain words. If a post comes up that contains topics that "trigger" you, block/mute words. It's great for news and events you are interested in if you will stay out of the garbage. Never click on the "For you" doom scroll tab.

Delete facebook.

Another pro tip. If you will build your own tab and not just use the "following" tab, there will be no ads. Just build a "my feed" or whatever tab, add the accounts you want to follow and it's ad free no algorithm scroll.

You can get a good algorithm on Facebook if you do it right but the moment you go down a rabbit hole your algorithm is doomed.

Yep. One wrong click & it takes a dozen “don’t show me this again” to reset it.
