seeing us 10-6, winning the West, winning a game in the tourney, being clearly top 5 in the SEC, and not getting in. Not this year with all the SEC love Kentucky has generated. I may be wrong. And I'd damn sure rather be a 12 or 13 instead of an 8 or 9.

Of course, we have to do with first three things I mentioned.

We've got 2 of them. We need 3 more. 11 SEC wins in the regular season + tournament should get us in.

Being "clearly in the top 5 of the SEC" doesn't mean squat when the people that count believe the SEC only has 4 good teams. That could change IF we beat UT. If that doesn't happen, all bets are off. Our only other hope would be to pick up a win over Florida in the 1st game of the SECT.

There are a ton of teams out there that still are on the bubble. It has been a strange year with the PAC 10 having no ranked teams and the ACC only having one at the moment. I don't think there will be alot of teams at the end that would bet better than 23-9, win their division, and have a better RPI which will probably be in the 40's if we keep it up. I can't imagine the committee taking the 7th place ACC team in a down year over an SEC team that goes 10-6 or 11-5.
