Lunch with the Kang

My brother-in-law was at Subway (in Memphis) today and the Kang came in ordered a samwich and sat down. My brother-in-law went over and shook his hand and he invited him to have a sit and chat, so he did. He asked Jackie about the game and he then shook his head and said "whoever scheduled that game in Ruston should be shot!! Then he went on about the turnovers and special teams. All in all he had a great 10 minute conversation with Jackie.

that's why he broke down the season by each month...focused on the ones in that month that he thought we had a chance to win, and mailed the others in...it worked when he was "focused." Croom is not smart enough to do that kind of thing.</p>

the Kang was 10 times the coach Crooms will ever be (course that don't include all of 02 & 03 plus some other years). If Jackie had his shat together, I'd fire Crooms now & rehire the Kang. Jackie embarrassed us plenty enough (even before 02-03) but he brought us more winning seasons than Crooms will in 20 years.
