Great game. Gap lead 14-7 after 3. Central scored with about 6 minutes left, lined up for kick and ran in a 2. Gutsy call. Gap got the ball with under 2 minutes left and no timeouts on about their own 20. First play was a pass to big #7 that went to Central's 16 yard line. After a spiked play, 3 incompletions ended the game. Hats off to Central, they are well coached, disciplined, and have team speed on defense. They stick with their running game. Gap had plenty of chances to win this one though. Tough way to end the season.

Sounds like Riverheads will almost definitely win this game vs Lunenburg Central. L-C has been an intriguing team all year.

I wouldn’t say Riverheads definitely wins this one. Central looks good on film and has athletes so it should be a good game.

I don't think this game is in the bag for RHS at all. Gap gave us our closest overall game in the district this year. It was still only 13-7 heading into the fourth quarter if I recall.

Thank you @longtimerhsfan as that was kinda my point. I think the matchup is tighter than some but it could open easily if either team gets the turnover bug or become penalized more than “normal”.

Back to the Gap/Central game. It was a good game and could have turned a couple of times. Congrats to the Bison on a solid season and we will see you guys on the mats real soon.
