You all are missing out. Luther (Stringer Bell) is an emotionally tortured London cop who is still married to but estranged from his wife Zoe (Momma Sand Snake). He has an interesting relationship with Alice (Ruth Wilson) who plays a dangerous psycho-***** with a sexy English accent and obligatory over bite.

This guy Luther is a gloryhound. The inexperienced DCI does all the legwork while he is off galivanting with a homicidal psycho and then he pops in at the climax to apprehend the crazy psychiatrist.
