YesYou were watching Jonas at Bolingbrook?
I met Bones during some of those games. Always a pleasure and respect for the Raiders.Bones goes way back to the “lost helmet” Brook game and a certain Mr. Martin. Those were battles and survival games between Bolingbrook and Lincoln-Way East. Those were the days….
Agreed. If Olsen doesn't nominate him and he doesn't make All-State that's a crime. Unfortunately the old threads are gone, but I started hyping Fager after his freshman year and he definitely exceeded my expectations.Fager was the big difference maker on this years squad. The program losing him is going to hurt the most.
Hopefully that can spark the culture back to be hard nosed team instead of noteworthy individualsAgreed. If Olsen doesn't nominate him and he doesn't make All-State that's a crime. The good news is this year's sophomores have 3 or 4 ballers who have the same attitude/spirit as Fager and hopefully they step up and lead the team - Remember the names Chase Klipowicz, Damario Blake, Damarian Sample and Josiah Carillo - They all play with confidence and maximum effort like Fager did.
Actually If I remember right I went over to the visitor side at halftime. And he would sit on the LWE side to watch the game!with the opposition fans just for fun.
