LWE Top 5 of all time?

You cant possible give Beast a top 5 ever title until the season is over. What if some how they get upset and dont win a state title? With 8 state champions each year going back X amount of years. A team that does not win state can not be among the best. I think Maine South knocks them off or else BR Marist winner.

I have been an Illini fan since the middle 50's. I grew up in Milford. The school is sooo small they play 8-man a side football in high school. In a league with several other small schools. Have THEIR own playoffs.
So looking at what East has done through 10 games this year. Damn impressive.
They have scored 463 points while only allowing 56
The thing that is really standing out in my mind is they have 6 shutouts in 10 games! The scary thing is if your their opponent they are shutting out teams as the competition gets better. Back to back shutouts over BB and St. Charles East and really the HF score was almost a shutout allowing 6 points.
It will get interesting as the playoffs continue because “if” they continue at this pace we may need to revisit the topic. That’s a big “if” because they have more games to get through starting with a dangerous Glenbard West team in a hostile environment.

Yeah but they were not at home. The Hitters are playing on there field or lake. GBW fans will be rabid.

Thanks and much appreciated. I’m proud of him. He’s a tough kid and loves to play. Got a chance to go both ways this year and didn’t come off the field much this year. I could tell he was pretty gassed in the 4 qtr against LWE but knowing it was his last game (probably forever) he wasn’t gonna take a break.
Didn’t realize it was your son.He was very close on a number of blitz chances from the corner.I was also impressed with your athletes thanking the officials as the clock was running down with fist bumps and obvious not an easy thing to do to wrap up your season.

Depends on how much you water your field before the game...
It has 4” on top now but cutting channels to drain off into Lake Ellyn. The sprinkler heads popped off overnight but word is they will be fixed by Friday afternoon. The wet toupee will be ready for Saturday. I will take the 42 points
I went out there this morning and took pictures. Nice and dry!! I also have a buddy that lives out there. He’s gonna keep an eye out for me. I’ll be back Friday night. GO BLUE!
You’ll have to play that game in the swimming pool to slow that team down.
