LWW vs Sandburg

Oline problems starting to rear their heads. Had some injuries that hurt lww . Started very slow...agree it should have been a blowout . Finally was able to get run game going late and had a big INT late to seal it . Sandburg came out better looking then expected. But I still think lww hasn't hit their stride yet. Defensively they will be in most games due to scheming and discipline . They will be a tough out in 7a if they can get line issues fixed and get on a roll offensively.
I "got nuthin'" on this one right now. Maybe the "Eagle" or "Bad Frog" posters might weigh in.
West goes up 3-0 on 1st possession before Sandburg scores next 14 in the last 3 minutes of Q1 on two consecutive series started by a West roughing the punter followed by West fumbling the ensuing kickoff deep in their minus territory. West answers quickly making it 14-10 early in Q2.
Sandburg takes the last possession of the half down to the West 12, but then misses a 30-yd FG attempt as time expires. In the opening possession of the 2nd half, the Eagles take it down to the West 19, but settle for a missed FG attempt from 37 yards out. West takes a 17-14 lead late in Q3.
Finally, Sandburg goes INT, INT and FUMBLE in their next 3 touches and West puts in the clincher after the last mentioned turnover for your 24-14 final.
Yes, as in they had a running clock on them two out of the last three games and Thornton jumped on them early in the other game - so to avoid a similar disaster on homecoming the Eagles came out hard from the start and as you said had a halftime advantage.
