Oh Boy!!!

I made this purchase a few weeks ago and it's been a wild ride! What a great firearm for such a reasonable price. And what can I say about this incredible prism scope???

OH BOY!!!
It was designed for the M4 platform and it's more then obvious! The illuminated red/green tactical option with the etched double circle POA system makes target acquisition l like butter!

Side note...
I purchased the Bumpfire Systems to go along with the complete experience. I haven't changed it out yet because I don't want to mortgage my house to buy ammo.

Very nice. Personally, I prefer the AK platform. Grabbed a Saiga just before Obama shut down legal importing of Russian firearms. Got it over the internet from DEGuns on O Street. Thrilled with it.

Good purchase.
I been in DEGuns but never bought anything there. Had a buddy purchase his M&P Shield there and he loved it.

If I had not gone the Palmetto State Armory route, I would have gotten a S&W Sport. Especially with the II it's hard to beat. I prefer melonite over chrome lining with barrels and I really like the heavier contour on the Sport. As it is I got one of the PSA Classic Lowers and a Freedom free floated upper, couldn't be happier.

I ended up scoping mine with a 2-7x from Mueller because I want to use it for coyote.

I didn't realize DEGuns had a storefront in Omaha, wish I would have stopped in when we were out there recently. Saw the Brownells store on 80 in Iowa on our way back but couldn't stop because we were trying to beat some storms home.

On a cooler note, my uncle gave me my grandpa's old Taurus Model 65 .357 revolver that he used working security after he retired. Cool piece of family history and I didn't have a Revolver in the collection.

What! You can't have a "collection" without a revolver. S & W to be more exact.

Ya, that's what I told my wife, but she said no more buying guns with the baby on the way. Couldn't say no to a free one though. :D

I'm very much a semi-auto guy, but it just felt wrong not having at least one revolver. Unfortunately, high quality revolvers come at a premium now, any of the .357s I actually wanted to buy myself cost more than any of my semi autos. I'd resigned myself to only being able to afford an inexpensive 38 before my uncle gave me the Taurus.

Since moving from Lincoln almost 20 years ago, I had no idea that DEGuns existed. Was on-line firearm shopping and saw that they were the only place (like in the world) that had the AK-47 that I needed. Not knowing who/where they were, I was thrilled to see an O Street address. They are straight-up legit.
Great service and selection.

When you get "older" you will appreciate going to the range and being able to keep all of your brass right in front of you. :)
