Bears travel to Rhonda to take on the cards and two coaches who face their former teams. Bears are rolling and Cards are coming off of back to back losses. What’s everyone’s thoughts here? If nothing else the drama surrounding the coaches should make things interesting to say the least

East can't let their feelings about Atkins leaving get in the way and Wilmoth can't let the chip on his shoulder hold them down. If that's the case this one will get ugly. Either way Mount Airy continues to win big.

This is MA's year...EW is missing some key cogs the last few games...but the outcome still would've been MA by a lot. MA just needs to not be satisfied with goin a few rds deep...but if Thomasville is 1 a..then its between MA..Thomasville..and E.Randolph to come out of the West..if anyone else beats either of these three...it would and should be considered a monumental accomplishment. Barring a miracle its over early..but remember a few years ago what Surry Central did to MA to the beat of an unexpectedly 20-0 loss for MA...anything can happen...but it'z not very likely.

Not sure what is going on with EW, I know they have some injuries, but watching them play WC they looked like a team that had lost confidence. Will have to rebound quickly to even keep this one close. MA rolls big in this one!
Not counting mtn teams out yet..but it's not lookin good for you guys honestly this year..but that's definitely why we play the game..Now if we can get MA fans to be humble..they have a great program..but geesh..They do seem ridiculously good this year. As far as EW goes the transfer that left EW and is a game changer at WC never gets any mention.. There are a few lineman that are out for EW and probably won't be back..and the most electrifying player on the team is out for the foreseeable future as well. Losing a few gamechangers like EW has done..makes you super mediocre, superfast..
The lineman, who is a freak, definitely a D1 kid cam from EW to WC, and EW got a receiver from WC that was a pretty good athlete
D1 freak of nature. DE..he will have a lot of success against East Surry.unless double or triple teamed..he's an.11th grader with great grades..big time schools after him..he transfered from EW to WC last year.
Sounds like a wash to me. Graham is a type of athlete EW doesn’t normally have in their pipeline. Should help EW tremendously. Isn’t he only a sophomore too?
EW has had a few speedsters..but didnt have coaching to match it at the time..but you can only be so good on the sidelines..durability may be a slight issue..not a wash at all ..D1 talent at 6'5 240 lbs versus non D1 talent..not a wash at all by most football standards.. The transfer from WC has definitely been missed..but The transfer from EW to WC changes the game on both sides of the ball tremendously every game.

you will win by a lot..but sit back and stop actin like you have anything to do with it..Just win it all or it's all a bust as cocky as you guys are when youre having a phenomenal season. A pure letdown if you dont win it all..and believe you me..there will be several on here cheering if you should happen to falter at any time this year including the playoffs...You definitely wont be challenged until then..

Da Haters are still waitin in da wings though!!I'm pretty sure the transfer from EW to WC transferred when he got to high school because his dad is a coach at WC. His dad was at EW under Atkins, and left for WC when Atkins left.
No. He didn't play and from what I heard he is out for the foreseeable future. Tough loss to the Cards, he was definitely a playmaker. Coming from a die hard EW fan, MA wins big, probably over before the end of Q1.

If I was Robbinsville I wouldn’t want to play the Bears either in Mt Airy. Last time it was a LONG ride back to the mountains
Either way, I'll be at the game whether it be in Mount Airy or in Robbinsville. Kinda hope this happens both schools are really good. The last time I heard about Robbinsville in a local sense was when they played Alleghany in the playoffs a few years back.
