Well, to be fair the man said in his introductory press conference he was going to find people who didn’t merely let that jersey clothe them. We cheered. Now, that’s going to mean we may have some times like tonight where we didn’t get the player. It’s an adjustment for me to trust the process as it is for many others. I’m frustrated we didn’t get Gwath, but the fact that he took less money to stay loyal to his school tells me Pope is trying to find the right kids. I, too, am sure we will be fine.

Basically that's you believing what you want to believe regardless of any factual information to the contrary.
If SDSU is where he wants to be then that's where he should be.
Making a kid an offer " they can't refuse" is just asking for a malcontent on the team.

I don't care what kind of skill set the dude has, in the SEC, he would have been broken in half!!!!

You don't sell the farm for a kid that isn't sure he wants to be here AND is putting his name into the NBA Draft. That would have been another 2 months of worrying whether he was ACTUALLY coming here.

PLENTY of options remain. Just PLEASE Coach Pope, don't make a hasty decision and bring in a kid that couldn't get it done at FREAKIN IU!!!!!!!

I'll admit the only game I seen him.plsy was against UNC and he didn't look like an impact player in that game.
It not like UNC has good bigs either.

I don't know where you play him.
He's really not an SEC center.
I think people were getting ahead of themselves thinking he was the type to come in and plant Garrison on the bench.
