Is Murrah weak? Absolutely. But I'd still say the dregs of public school are stronger than the dregs on MAIS ball. Therefore, Prep really only has JA (maybe throw in one other school) to get upfor to play. Pearl will have to get up for the NW Rankin,Brandon, then the best teams of their division play.
So wherePearl isa very important game to Prep on the schedule. Prep, bynecessity, is way down Pearl's list.
BTW,I have zero connection withPearl.
Pearl just got placed in the same division with West Jones, Wayne County and Brookhaven.
Doanyone think that those schools are the same competition level as Prep's big division games of Parklane, Copiah and East Rankin? Remember JA is not in Prep's division.</p>
that any time aa public school plays a private- both sides are "up" for the game and not looking past it. Thats just being petty and ridiculous. You think any public school coach wants to lose to a private school? You don't think those black kids get excited to knock around those snotty rich kids?
As far as Prep entering the MHSAA, they will compete for titles in 4A. The fact that they would now be competing in the MHSAA will lead some parents to send their kids there that normally wouldnt due to the competition factor. Prep = Boise State in NCAA. They will be very good each and every season
