So, if that passes can I do a start up in delivering wine to homes? What would be a good name for my business.

It truly is amazing Mississippi is still dealing with these issues...haven't lived in the state since I graduated, 1990.
Good luck!

Get back with me when we legalize the devil's lettuce - something that would actually move us forward.

This alcohol shlt should have been taken care of in 20-25 years ago, just like the flag. I saw this video from 2005 from a local Brandon church on Youtube the other day, watched the music. It was shocking to see how 1985 it actually looked. Mississippi really is 20 years behind - and that's our peer states, like AL, AR, LA, etc. Even further behind TN, GA, FL, etc. And like 50 years behind many others.

Man, it would be nice to get a Sams liquor store and Costco liquor store in north Mississippi and on the coast. Not sure if the demographics of either place meet costco's requirements or if that has really been a holdup for them, but can't hurt to make it an option.

HB 1525 also passed out of committee and carves universities and colleges out of the prohibition of selling alcohol in schools. This is paving the way for full bar in premium areas, and restaurants and hotels on campus
