Well that sucks. I generally enjoy rooting for Huskers in the NFL. Gregory has largely lived up to his draft crash potential there. Perhaps he will turn it around with Maliek there. I hope Dallas has the #1 D and Romo throw lots of pick and fumbles.

Maliek has a kid to play for and isn't a pothead. He will be a solid pick for Da Boys.

They could have had all these picks and possibly 1 more in the first 3 rounds...addressing all their needs with potential starters.

But they didnt want to deal with Baltimore. Deal must not have been good,enough.

Really don't think he's much of a gamble at all at that spot in the draft. I think he's a steal. The Boys need D linemen and in a pinch when Dallas has two DEs suspended to start the year, Maliek might be able to slide out to DE. Not ideal but he's pretty athletic so he could maybe get them through those first few weeks if they have an injury disaster to their backup DEs.

Talked to a buddy of mine who moved to Dallas and has Cowboy season tickets.

He told me as a Husker fan he is very happy drafting Collins but felt the biggest need for the Cowboys was drafting a good QB, he was hoping to land Conner Cook in the 4th but the Raiders scooped him up.

Cowboys can do better than Cook IMO. I was never impressed by him at all.

I would take Adams before Cook. JMHO.
