Man who died at the Liberty Bowl is a former county engineer

[Captain Jack Bulldog]

Here in Copiah County. His name was Joe Johnson, age 75. I only post this because some of you who were at the game mentioned that it happened around where you were sitting.
Joe was a super nice guy and dedicated to his job and the people here. He was also a huge Bulldog fan.

Hate it for his family and all having to go through that situation. Reminds me of a friend that died while attending the Oregon/MSU game in Eugene.

same basic situation (not at the actual game)

but a good friend of mine went out there with his wife, kids and grandkids. Whole big deal. Then, he had a heart attack and died while he was out there, day before the game, I believe. Just not fair. Biggest fear of my life is to put my family through that. Wish we could all plan it...
