Mine safety was a bill that brought wv standards to national standards and eliminated rules for obsolete mining methods at updated facilities.

The tank law was modified to fix issues in the original law because the last legislature pushed it through without accounting for the consequences of all the new rules.

As you stated the forced fuel bill didnt pass...but it wasnt an imminent domain bill like countryroads suggested. Nobody would have their land purchased for the public good....just the resources.

JMO, but I believe this quick turnaround in thinking was brought about by his DEM leadership in DC. They want to retake the Senate and feel much more comfortable having Manchin already in place rather than open the seat up for a potential retake by another REP which could easily happen based on the present Republican trend in WV.

Tomblin was an incumbent running against a guy who had never held political office. And he won by less than 5 points.
You still didn't make a case on how Hillary would hurt a Dem governor candidate.
