"Maneri said the Tar Heels' homer was especially devastating because he thought Glenn had struck out Holberton on the previous pitch, but umpire Steve Mattingly called it a ball.
Holberton then sent Glenn's 3-2 offering over the wall in right center for only the second homer in seven CWS games"

Between him whinning about umpiring and Miles whinning about scheduling you would never know they work for a school with numerous national titles and unlimited athletic funds. Many would give their left nut to have access to half the resources these cry babies have at their fingertips.

I love this place because it exposes who can coach and who can't. Quite simply, he's a good coach, but not great. He'll win when he has great talent, but he's not usually the difference-maker unless it's a loss IMO.

Whine on, Paul.

He really is. I think it's hilarious that even after getting the LSU job and having success there, his ****** is still sore that he didn't get the MSU job back in 2001.

To be fair

A lot of MSU fans' ******'s were sore when LT rehired The Little Gnome instead of Manieri.

The Vagisil will flow like moonshine down in Cajun country. Walgreens is putting it on a 2 for 1 special in Baton Rouge.

Maybe Manieri should be more concerned about the 20 men his team left on base in two games and less on a call the umpire made.
