Westburg just drove in two for the O's. 6-2 Rays.
I haven't checked in on him in awhile since TB kinda faded. Glad to see he finished with a solid season.
He’s been hot. Hitting almost .350 this past month

Yep….he’s changed his approach against lefties and it has paid off in a big way. Only 4-5 weeks ago his OPS against LHP was abysmal….about .450. It’s now above .630.
I posted a few weeks ago that his biggest current weakness was his approach against lefties, he wasn’t able to beat out the infield hits nearly as often, or steal as much even when he got on base. He needed to focus on driving the ball more when hitting from right side. Looks like maybe he’s been doing that. Last night’s HR was the hardest ball he’s hit all year, and was from the right side. Has several other XBH from right hand side as well in the past month or so.
The Mayor went 3 for 4 today so far today, clearly he is getting his improved batting tips from 6pack.
