He just needs to face the facts. He is the product of media love for Notre Dame.

For the first time in my life, Mark May and I agree on something.

He said this morning that the team who drafts Mantai in the first should fire their GM.

Of course I think a lot of his reasoning is blind hatred towards ND.

he is actually the product of being a non-black defensive "leader". these individuals are over hyped constantly in college football. just ask cam lawrence.

So you're saying he's "cerebral" as opposed to "athletic"?

Sort of in the same way Ed Orgeron was "cerebral" while Sylvester Croom was "athletic"?

Yea JJ Watt, Clay Mathews, Brian Urlacher are terrible.*

It's the media's obsession with Notre Dame. That and they can taste the blood now with T'eo. Him failing is a big story.

I think he's better than that. However, I think he projects as an NFL player that everyone around him makes better, not a guy who makes everyone around him better. I want my 1st round pick to be a guy who makes everyone around them better.

where in my post did i say white defensive players werent good? and i specifically stated "college football". if a player is not black and is a "leader" on defense they are quite often over hyped among fan bases and then the media. i agree that him being from ND fed the fire also.

It's simple

He's a product of the national media. He's not terrible but #2 in the heisman is pathetic

"What everyone saw against Alabama was reality, unlike his girlfriend."

Thought this was pretty good from the comments section.

If he thinks the combine is stressful, wait til he plays in the NFL against a whole raft of running backs like Alabama's.

Here's Mantais problem..... What he SHOULD have done was drive to CA or wherever that bi curious dude lived and kicked his fat ***. Then football fans would have found out about the hoax bc Mantai would have been in the news for being arrested for assault and battery. Then when we found out why he assaulted someone then every football fan would've rallied around him and he'd be 10lbs heavier and 1/4 second faster. Instead he looked like an innocent scared little homosexual. And no nfl owner wants a gay player at this time.
