for the first half of the Rice game. NCAA has completely blown all evidence away, if there were any, that they were not a joke.

And how does the financial impropriety of what he did and Redmond did even

for the first half of the Rice game. NCAA has completely blown all evidence away, if there were any, that they were not a joke.
come up in the same conversation. The NCAA should immediately reduce Redmond's penalties. And don't tell me Johnny hasn't been do his share of lying or bending the truth. ********.

Cam got nothing for $200k.
Manziel gets two quarters against Rice for who knows how much.
Will Redmond gets 18 games because Hack got sloppy. Good job by MSU working with the NCAA.

Manziel simply brings too much money to the table for the NCAA and college football. He gets a pass as a result. I do agree, the NCAA is a joke.

That's even more ridiculous than no suspension at all. At least then, they'd be saying they didn't find him guilty of anything. The NCAA quit even pretending to not to be biased a long time ago.

Sounds like a beating on the field is inevitible. Maybe some player will suspend him indefinitely.

The NCAA owes Terrell Pryor and Ohio st a huge apology.

This blows my mind. I understand "hammering" Prior by essentially forcing him to go pro. But why in the hell did they impose penalties on the school? They could have claimed firing Tressell was sufficient.

Maybe their play to keep the big money schools from bolting to a different organization is to make it clear that they don't have to play by the same rules, and they just didn't realize the threat they were facing when they handed down the Ohio St penalties. Otherwise it's just weird as hell. It's like their goal is to create an environment where no rhyme or reason can be discerned from their actions.

Lets all take a moment of silence and think about how big of a bad *** JMFF really is........
1. wins heisman as freshman
2. parties like a rock star all summer long
3. signs autographs for money *allegedly*
4. tells the NCAA to 17off when they look into

Personally, I gotta give him props

It states that

the NCAA and AM reached an agreement. I take that as AM said they'd suspend him for the first 1/2 and the NCAA agreed that this was sufficient. I agree with others that suspending him is even worse, for the NCAA, because it shows that they admit he was guilty.

So a guy that apparently was involved in 6 figures worth of improper benefits/whatever, gets 1/2 a game suspension & some kid on our team has to sit out a whole season for what, a few hundred dollars?

This is ridiculous. I've never been one to be on the "fiREz brACKy!!1" train, because I don't know what he does or does not do. However, i'm of the opinion that the next time the NCAA comes snooping around our hourse we tell them to get 17'ed and kiss our ***. I'm dead serious.

Don't forget - takes all of his classes from home

I believe he's 100% correspondence course now. That is actually the one that pisses me off the most, because I bet my first born he doesn't even know who is actually taking those classes for him.

Redmond gets 1/3 of his college career taken away. Manziel gets 2 quarters. Thanks LT.

Bill Curry said it best on Mike and Mike...If you can lie with a straight face to the NCAA, you'll never get in trouble.

Saban's probably just pitched a tent in his pants thinking about it. Pro wrestling doesn't even have results this audacious. Absolutely pathetic.

Between

this and Cam Newton, it's apparent that if you deal in cash and never admit to any wrongdoings, you'll never get in trouble.

In the last decade of our dealings with the NCAA, I have yet to see one ounce of evidence that would lead me to believe that "cooperating" with them pays any dividends whatsoever. In fact, I think it's completely counter-productive in that once you feed them enough bits and pieces of info, it's like we leave them no choice but to come down on us with something. I'm with you. The next time they come around... 17 em

Difference between Redmond and JF is that we sent Redmond into the lions den totally unrepresented. Bracky probably pulled him in his office with SS and Mullen and said "Now Son, you just need to speak the truth! Don't say no more than you need to! Just be honest with them and it will all work out. Got it?".

We are MSU.

Looks that way

this and Cam Newton, it's apparent that if you deal in cash and never admit to any wrongdoings, you'll never get in trouble.

Difference in us and the others is we had a Booster and a Coach involved. Manziel didn't involve a Coach or Booster, just autograph brokers and cash. Cam got away with who knows what with the focus on his father and no Booster or Coach named. We got turned in and admitted a Coach and Booster were involved in it. You must lie it seems and you get away with it. We suck at cheating.

Well, lets not forget the guy that set up the deals for Redmond came forward and spilled the beans per his master's bidding. Last I heard the dealers that paid JFF weren't going to talk to the NCAA. I'm guessing they never did either.

I have a feeling if the NCAA had a dealer come forward saying "yes I paid him $8500 and he took it" here's the check, here's when it cleared. He would have gotten popped.

We won't fire Bracky, but why can't we change his duties?

then bring in an attorney to actually fight like everyone else (literally everyone else)? I honestly, don't understand.

We had a booster and coach that were brought to light by fat *** Devinner. And we admitted it, fire the coach and booster, and dove on their mercy. Then we let the player dangle in the wind. Don't think that other schools wouldn't let prospects know how "we" take care of ours" by sending them in unrepresented and losing eligibility on Devinners testimony.

I agree with firing that dude. Is he even an attorney? What is his expertise and how did he get that job?

Bracky has a master in PE and has worked at MSU, those are his qualifications..
