Didnt see this coming. Maybe he is thinking he can pull a Willis McGahee and sneak his way into the 1st (doubtful due to the seriousness of the injury)

Guess he figures it's now or never...good luck to him...seems to be a good guy.

He's been flip flopping back and forth....

Seriously, good luck in his rehab and the draft.

He's been hurt so much- he's just hoping someone will take a chance on him. I doubt he goes before the 5th round given his history. Anything before that is a helluva gamble

Most disgusting injury I have ever seen while watching a game. The camera guy didn't realize it was so bad and zoomed into Lattimore and his leg was pointing backwards but the worst part was seeing his face when he looked at his leg. There's something kind of weird about how Lattimore runs/walks naturally. He is bow legged or something and I think it leaves him more susceptible to these type injuries. I hope he fully recovers and never plays a snap of football again. He is a hero in South Carolina. He won't hurt for money or a job.

It ended up not being that bad- just dislocated. Not that that is good- just amazing he didnt have any ligament tears or blood vessel problems

It's impossible to dislocate a knee and not tear any ligaments.

Ligaments are the only thing holding your knee together and they don't stretch.

Not even close. I actually was watching both of those games when those injuries happened. For some reason a broken ankle/bone doesn't bother me as much as whatever the hell happened to Lattimore. It was 17ing gross. You could stuff a grenade in his pants and it wouldn't be as gross as that.

It worked for Willis Mcgahee

People weren't sure he'd ever play and he had a decent career. It was Mcgahee right? Some Miami running back.

He did have ligament tears. Injury wasn't near as bad as it looked but they did have to do surgery to repair some ligaments.

I think 9 out of 10 people would disagree with you. While Lattimore's injury looked bad, Prothro's was much, MUCH worse. He actually broke a bone, and on top of that broke it in the worst possible place, on the extremely low end of the bone. Alot of times knees and mid-bone breaks will heal up even stronger than before, but not where Prothro's was.

Lattimore's already walking without crutches. Prothro still limps from what I hear.
