While waiting on our game, they showed some footgage from the Seattle/Miami game. I think they were in Miami.

The outfield looks like plastic turf. Is that stuff allowed in the majors?

It was in Tampa Bay. I have been to Tropicana field and it is one of the worst in the MLB. Since its in a dome it is all turf. I think they just replaced it this year which is probably why it appears plastic to you.
