Not sure of the quality of his competition, but he sure looks fast compared to the opponents and he knows how to get the ball into the endzone.

Before the offer, Rivals already lists NU as his only High interest.

Looks like a good athlete.

There was some concern on other boards that we wouldn't offer fast enough and Iowa or someone might take away his Husker interest.

They have some years, Webb City in the playoffs, Blue Springs South among others.
Thanks, that is as good as it gets in Missouri. I used to live in Illinois and followed Missouri football but that was quite a few years ago. The top teams were those mentioned along with Jeff City, Rockhurst, Columbia schools (Hickman & Rock Bridge) and St Louis always had Hazelwood Central.

Who rules Missouri now? I know CBC rules St Louis.

Some of those schools are always pretty good, Webb City is one of the top programs regardless of class, Hazelwood Central is always good, CBC is one of the top teams, and in KC it is usually LSW, Blue Springs, Blue Springs South, Kearney, Rockhurst and Fort Osage has been pretty good as well.

Wonder if he could be a kid Nebraska could get up here for the spring game and maybe commit or if he is going to ride out the recruiting process.

since when are committing and riding out the recruiting process mutually exclusive? Not being critical of the thought, but I think we have learned that even if he or anyone commits in the spring, its a rare kid anymore who commits 9 months before NSD and shuts it down completely - particularly an out of state recruit without a cemented bond/tie to the coaches or program.

They're not always mutually exclusive, but if he has Nebraska as his only high interest school maybe Nebraska was the offer he was wanting. Nebraska has had recruits commit early and then shut it down, then some that make all their visits to other schools and then commit to Nebraska or somewhere else.

Not 100% proof positive, but we can somewhat test the "rarity" of players shutting down recruiting post commitment. Looking at our current class of recruits that committed early, who continued to take visits, versus who has honored their commitment? There was a natural break in our commits in September, so I picked that date versus 9 months. I recognize that we did have a few decommits from this time period. But it looks more likely that a commit shuts down recruiting post commitment.
