why in the hell the saints drafted him? We have rb's out the *** and glaring holes on defense. I just can't find any reason why we should have taken him.

I'd like to see his *** gone. He's been pretty worthless in my opinion. Dances and tiptoes too much.

It was a stupid pick to begin with. It's one thing if he falls in your lap, but trading up? The RB position has been so devalued in today's NFL game they're hardly ever worth taking in the first round, much less trading up.

It was a bad pick all the way around.

Best two rookie backs this year were taken in the 6th and 7th round. Aside from Peterson and Gore, everyone currently starring in the NFL wasn't a high pick.

It was a very stupid pick. Cut him and sign a DB.

just peterson and gore? gore wasn't even a high pick, 3rd round. i'm not going to look into every roster but off the top of my head chris johnson, reggie bush, doug martin, trent richardson, deangelo williams and johnathan stewart, mcfadden, ryan matthews, donald brown, reshard mendenhall (injured), javid best (injured?). there were a few 2nd rounders i left off too. reekris...

That was Trent Richardson, you ******* idiot. Otherwise, solid first post, and timely username.

Definitely thought about it today.

First of all, you don't trade up into the first round for a RB unless the guy is a can't miss. Ingram isn't/wasn't. I'd love to have Akeem Ayers from the Titans, LB (taken 11 picks after Ingram in 2011).

Alfred Morris has more yards rushing and Td's (376/4) than Richardson (222/3). He was a 6th round pick.

This is only rushing.. did not look up receiving.

Gotta agree on the devaluing of the RB position. Just look at the top teams in the NFL and they don't spend their money on the RB position.

Proves my point. Chris Johnson had one good year, and the rest of that list is lackluster.

Leave Richardson out of this, he has played 4 games.

My point was the best backs in the NFL are second/third day picks. I stand by that.
