I hope things work out better for him that they did for Lionel. I'm pretty sure that Hollins thought that he'd easily get another job as well, but just as he found out, turning your nose up to billionaire owners is no way to keep a job or to land a new one.
He and management disagreed. On a lot. Everything from him refusing to leave the LA area for where he lived, to his assistant coaches, to how substitutions worked(ala Stans).
Jackson sent Brian Scalabrene(sp?) down to coach on their DLeague team because the two didn't get along and it happened after Scalabrene argued with another assistant coach.
A third assistant coach was recently fired because he had been secretly recording conversations.
Its been rumored that coaches and former players were asked by management to spy and report back to them on Jackson.
Yeah, that guy is a walking(when he can) injury.
But damn he was effective earlier this season when he was fully healed. Spin moves, quick feet, running on the break- he is one of those top picks that could have a totally different career to date if not for injury after injury.
