UNC used our last open scholarship on a big man that was granted a 5th year by the Tennessee ruling. Also our fall semester started Monday. So no more scholarships, and no more time to enroll players.

Also, and I can't emphasize this enough, UNC is still adamant about not recruiting basketball transfers from dook.
You guys got away with a decades long AFAM scandal, where regular students paid big tuition money, for a scam class, that was created to keep players eligible, so I'm sure ole Bubba can wiggle his fat a$$ out of something this easy.

Isn’t it funny how Kentucky has gone about this like Jalen Washington went to Tennessee and Jordan pope went to Texas a&m and I’m sure they are already playing and practicing
Not really funny. If Sankey and I do say if, Sankey decides to hammer Mitchell, those two will receive the same fate.

That rule will 100% be challenged and they would win. I literally just read a tweet talking about that under anti trust grounds because the SEC would be acting as a monopoly restricting his movement and earning potential against a court order btw.
I think the fact UK was among the SEC schools that agreed to that SEC specific transfer rule would make it very hard to win. Mitchell could literally go to any non-SEC school and be fine.

What will help is if the SEC appears to selectively enforce the rule against UK but not against other interconference transfers. That would certainly give UK a strong case.

That's
To transfer from one SEC school to another SEC school and be immediately eligible, a player must be in the portal by some date in April. This is a SEC rule that UK agreed to when it was implemented. I wasn't even aware of it until Greg Sankey hinted recently that he will still enforce this rule.
That's totally wrong they didhn't agree the school presidents did who know nothing about sports,Si said these rules if challenged will be overturned because of antitrust laws.in the end of he chooses he will be in Lexington

SI? You mean Sports Illustrated, the publication that fired all of its good journalists years ago? Or are you referring to a different Si?

And whomever from UK that was chosen to represent UK in SEC meeting, voted for this rule to be put in place.

We've had this discussion before. I'm not trolling. I lived in Lexington as a child.
This guy is the former LEXHEELFAN, or whatever his name used to be. The "lived in Lexington" gives it away.

Remember when he got caught claiming that European lingerie model was his girlfriend on the old Rivals National Board? Somebody did a reverse search on the image and exposed his pitiful lie, and everyone in the country laughed in his face. An all time classic humiliation. And he's back for more.

That rule went out the window as soon as judges started ruling on the 5 for 5 issue and players were gaining eligibility.

Players, like Mitchell, were told they weren't going to be eligible, so they didn't enter, but now that the courts changed things, that SEC rule is null and void.

We've had this discussion before. I'm not trolling. I lived in Lexington as a child. When I got into basketball, UK was under a TV ban and a postseason ban, so I found someone else to cheer for. Then I moved, got older, and attended UNC. I have no issues with UK basketball. I have several UK grads in my family. I was in town 2 weeks ago. Messageboards are dying off, but this one still has a decent population so it's fun to converse here. I truly hope I don't have to remind you of all this again next month.
You remind me a lot of UNCfaninKY . he was the one that created a fake girlfriend and got caught. I'm sure you're going to say that's not you though… but we both know the truth. 😜

3Migos it is then.

The do not contact tag is a nice touch. well done.

Even though he's not *officially* signed yet, I don't see any of those posters out here saying Mitchell won't end up here are parading around. this looks pretty much a done deal at this point.

Good Show. Interested to see how it finally ends up. Getting Mitchell places UK preseason top 10 for absoulte certain. Now they will have to live up to the expectations, which are monstrous.
Get it done, Coach. Just get it done.

Go Big Blue !

Cunningham. He was uNC's f***ing athletics director. Retired this year.

Are you sure you're a cheats fan?
I'm a Tar Heel alum. I'm very aware who our current AD is and it isn't Bubba. That's why I'm confused why you posted something about Bubba getting UNC out of the scholarship limit for next season, when he's not in charge anymore.

Would be super easy to fight that and win. They were technically not even able to enter portal due to eligibility being out. Now they have eligibility so that rule doesn’t apply. Easy win for a decent lawyer.
That's not how this works. You're confusing NCAA rules with SEC rules. They aren't the same thing. Especially since UK voted in favor of the SEC transfer rules.

Not scared of that dookie at all. Just discussing the latest NCAA craziness.

I remember how Mitchell played at dook. I remember him running from the competition to the transfer portal, and ending up at a really terrible basketball program (Mizzou.)

Some recruits don't handle the bright lights and pressure very well. How will Mitchell handle the lights and pressure at UK, if he's ever allowed to play?
Sort of like how I remember the UNC guard running from the competition to the transfer portal and ending up winning a National Championship at Michigan.

You night as well give it up. You've been exposed as a laughing stock who in addition to past fan board humiliations is an apologist for a program that cheated for two decades with a totally fraudulent AF-AM department -- then avoided sanctions by saying grades for fake classes and no work represented the university's usual academics and institutional honor, so, fake grades weren't a rule violation, just typical UNC standards available to athletes and regular students alike.

Try going away for a while then sneaking back with a more neutral name. Because you are ID'd as a clown with this one.

Why do you care so much? If Mitchell doesn't have the goods then why are you so concerned about us signing him? No offense but hearing a tarheel act pious and concerned on legal items, eligibility and adhering to the rules is pretty hysterical.

Because Bubba knows how to make the NCAA his *****. He didn't die, he just retired. This isn’t hard to figure out.

Again Jeff, why did you think Bubba was still in charge of UNC athletics, and why did you think he was fat?
Did Bubba go off the grid? You think the flash from Men-in-Black is in Chapel Hill and he forgets everything?
Just count your lucky stars that the NCAA is a joke. Y'all should be minus 4 titles right now.

You dont think the judge would pause a moment when the SEC's lawyer points out that UK voted for this rule to be put into place?
Dude what is about that you don't understand,I know you don't want this go back to your own board ,The athletic director s did not want this,The presidents shoved it on everybody,it violates antitrust laws to tell a player ,that he can't go we're he wants ,That has been reported everywhere, Kentucky would win that in court ,gosh I might wake up.
