Same. I’ll have had 10 days of no game pent up energy bubbling over. If Chandler and Moreno are starting and Lowe and JQ aren’t, RIP to my remote. Thankfully those Roku remotes are about $8/ea on Amazon.
Chandler needs to play 30 minutes, and get off at least 20 shots. His problem lately, is he’s not getting enough shots off. Some of it has been that no one is passing it to him.

Need him to get his confidence back, and play like he’s capable. At the end of last season, he was a huge factor in some big wins.

Lowe is a solid contributor at times, and when he plays well, things go better, but, some of our fans act like he’s the second coming of Jordan. He’s not.

I agree that he is not the second coming of MJ but it is pretty obvious that he is really needed to be the offensive initiator for this team. Aberdeen and JJ just aren't getting it done. This team needs Lowe to be on the court for as many minutes as possible.

JJ, that's what we have been talking about.
JJ has more pg skills than DA and Chandler, the issue is, Pope hardly played him against the cupcakes we played, he stuck witb DA.
Genuinely curious: you still like JJ here? They both played well today…JJ just gets bullied on D and not strong enough to get to his spots on O. He did seem to find a niche today though.

So, you're going back looking for posts to dig up because DA had a great game?

When I made that statement, it was correct. DA is not a point guard and that statement was true all the way up to the LSU game. He has obviously put in the work and look at him now.

But JJ has pg skills and he can score from all 3 levels, he just needs more reps. DA got the reps all year, JJ hasn't.

But I'm stoked to see DA play the way he has these last 2 games. That means we might actually have something.

As I said, not trying to get in a pissing match brother…that’s why I led with genuinely curious.

Just don’t think this particular team has the ability to go through the growing pains with JJ. If our record was 15-3, maybe he’d get the reps.

Hopefully they can both settle in and contribute like they did today.

Right, but you can't just have 1 pg, you have to have 2 very good point guards.
That almost bit us today. DA had 2 early fouls, but JJ came in and played really well.
So, if DA can sustain this level of pg play, that would be one huge issue solved, but we need JJ to keep making strides, big ones.

Yeah and everyone knows it.
The St Johns game really highlighted how huge it is for this team to have Lowe on the floor. We couldn't do anything against their defense, they smothered our ball handlers, but once Lowe came in, they couldn't guard us.
JJ is the only other guy we have that at least has some point guard skills, but it seems like he would rather not be an assist guy, he wants to score.
That isn’t true. He wasn’t a point guard and is learning the position. He is doing fine and has made some good passes. He can’t do what Lowe can do but he might get there some day. Hardest position to learn.

You do realize you replied to a post I made a long time ago, right? At the time I made that post, it was dead on accurate.
DA has had two good games in a row, today was his best game and JJ played a damn good game too.
However, don't count your chickens, this team is consistent at one thing… .being inconsistent.
