Heck, at this point, I can't take anything he says at face value. All the positive projections he puts out there tend to blow up in his face.
Hopefully someone talked to him about his mopey demeanor after losses.
He sounds good, but he usually does after a few days to shake it off and surely he knows he has to put on a positive vibe, even in the worst of times.
I just don't have faith in him getting the ship righted. I don't even know why I'm listening tbh.

I was the same way when I played. Had to have some cool down time post game after a loss. Kinda glad he takes it so hard.

Honestly, True-blue that at least means he wasn’t the one designating that. To me, that means CC shouldn’t be seeing the floor. I’m sorry but not really — he can’t play if he’s that late on getting out on those. I don’t feel like rewatching that game, but I know for a fact he gave up at least 12 points on the same push screen deep wing — same spot. That’s a mind numbing statement. Don’t think I’ve heard a coach try and say any part of the game isn’t that important. No wonder we look awful at the start of games. These type of comments rub off on the players and they follow suit

Mashburn was an absolutely amazing basketball player! If he hadn’t of fouled out in the Duke game in 1992 we would’ve went to the final 4 and if he hadn’t of fouled out in the 93 game we would’ve beat Michigan and played North Carolina in the Championship game.

I want a hundred more stories about Gimel Martinez. He’s one of my guilty pleasure favorites from the ‘94 team. A big finesse big in that era like him is a wild outlier.
