What is your opinion on him and what are our chances. I personally think we do not have a chance at all but the real question is do you mind being second to Alabama for a top 5 kid.

Slim chance at best, but that's better than no chance. He does seem to really like our staff, especially Collins. Maybe Collins and Townsend can get it done. And of course we shouldn't mind being second. One of the things Ole Miss has done well over the last several years (somebody brought this up yesterday) is getting their hat on the proverbial table. Maybe one day you land one. If nothing else, being in the conversation is good for the perception of the program among recruits.

Why would I mind? First, he's a legacy kid. Second, we've rolled out the red-carpet, as it were, for him. Third, Bama is about to sign their best class ever. Fourth, different dynamics if it's being second to Bama for Chris Jones.

Your question should have been is do we mind being second to FSU for MH?

Another thing of note is that -- of the 3 options for him -- we are the only one that's likely to offer him the ability to keep playing with a bunch of highschool teammates in the future.

We've offered 4 or 5 2015 players at Hoover High as well... some of which will be pretty highly recruited(I'm not sure any will actually get Bama offers however) and some that appear they won't be very highly recruited...
