Anyone know what’s going on this evening on campus? Maroon Alert just went out ordering the evacuation of four different dorms.

My daughter is in Hathorn Hall and had to evacuate. Three of the four dorms that were evacuated have been cleared. Hathorn is the only one that hasn’t been cleared yet. The four dorms were Hathorn, Sessums, Hull and Nunley.
A pocket rocket was found left in the on position. It caused quite a commotion.
All dorms were female dorms and there was concern over camera/recording devices.
it was a lot funnier when the Lambdas did it in Revenge of the Nerds.
Looks like they didn’t find any suspicious devices, thankfully….

MSU investigation of suspicious device threat continues, areas cleared
Mississippi State University is investigating an anonymous suspicious device threat Friday night [Aug. 25]. There were no injuries reported.
It was just as screwed-up humor then as it is today. We would just actually make fun of it then and laugh.
I don't think anyone ever said the glory hole/peephole was normal. It was a classless, tacky, and awfully funny movie that would never be made today.
The things they did were great.
