Maroon endzone?

Went by the stadium today and noticed the endzones were maroon...

Then I saw this on the athletic website... I kinda like it...

Didn't we do this a few years ago for a night game against maybe Auburn or UGA? Seems like I remember something like that. I like it. Adds a nice touch. I also like having "Mississippi State" spelled out.</p>

These 2 views make the stadium appear to be brand new and clean. Looking at the first pic in this thread indicates that our seating needs a good steam cleaning.

but i think i like it the other way better. miss. state in one end, and bulldogs in the other. we've done that for a very long time. i'm all for change. and i definitely like the maroon endzones.

looks like we're making a big deal out of our appearance on the deuce. sure would be nice to be unveiling the new HD tomorrow night on national tv.
