Marshall Henderson is about as big of a douche as I've seen

When you think he can't be any bigger of a tool

he goes out and proves you wrong. Celebrating slipping past a terrible Auburn team by popping your jersey in front of the student section and taunting them. Stay classy Marshall.

Does he not realize the team they just squeaked by is 8-11?

The more I watch them, the more average they look. Just taking advantage of an awful SEC.

Henderson embodies everything about that school. No wonder we can't stand them.

I say we start Baxter Price

And then proceed to make sure price will never be able to play again due to suspension.

Didnt that old codger temple coach do something like that?

His behavior and attitude are eventually going to come back around on him.

When it happens, I expect it to look something like this.

To be fair, he sorta reminds me of Will Clark. Wish Henderson was playing for us.

What?!? Will Clark might have been an *******, but he didn't go around doing **** like this, or whatever the equivalent would be in baseball.

This wasn't even a last second buzzer beater where he might have gotten caught up in the moment. It was after 17ing free throws.

Somebody is gonna take his out and soon.

What is someone going to do? Punch him? Foul him hard? Good luck with that, I don't think that will stop him from talking. The only thing that would stop him would be a permanent injury, and anyone who would do that doesn't deserve to play college athletics and any coach who would allow it should be fired immediately.

I'm just waiting on David Kellum to call him a thug like he called a State basketball player a few years ago on the radio.

(1) Smoot was a world class athlete and basically the best at his position at the time. Henderson is obviously good, but if the SEC wasn't so ****** right now, I'm not sure he would really even be a top SEC player.
(2) I don't remember Smoot ever making an *** of himself taunting fans. He ran his mouth, but most of what I remember was funny, not him trying to act like a badass when he'd probably get his *** kicked by 90% of the players he's up against. I will concede I may just not remember him acting like an *** on the field and after the game.
(3) Smoot always came across as a guy whose after game activities involved chilling out with some weed and a boat ho', not meth and a meth ho'.

1) He's leading the SEC in scoring and scoring at 20+ per game in SEC play. He won't be a top draft pick, but the guy can play. Your entire premise that being the best at your position makes it OK is moronic.

2) Which is easier to be involved with, football fans that are a ways away from the field, or basketball fans that are feet from the court? Smoot was exactly the same as Henderson.

3) What does that have to do with any of this?

Maybe I'll just reference you to Charles Rhodes and Renardo Sidney, who both always taunted opposing fanbases.

I thought that was Sean Touehy?

Either way, their defense of this bozo is hilarious

You're mistaking "always" with "against ole miss"

Either way, we hated Sidney's asshattery, we didn't defend it like you lot.

Also, Smoot smack talked other players, not the fans.

1) He's leading the SEC in scoring and scoring at 20+ per game in SEC play. He won't be a top draft pick, but the guy can play. Your entire premise that being the best at your position makes it OK is moronic. Talking smack as an elite player is a little less annoying that talking smack as a good player. If Henderson were to play shutdown defense, it'd be a lot less annoying. As it is he's basically elite (at least for the SEC) on one side of the court and so-so on the other. Not really the person that should be running their mouth.

2) Which is easier to be involved with, football fans that are a ways away from the field, or basketball fans that are feet from the court? Smoot was exactly the same as Henderson. So you can't point to a single incident of Smoot making an *** of himself? And it's not just taunting fans. I don't t hink Demarcus Cousins did anything out of line when he taunted fans. It's making an *** out of yourself by rushing to get in fans faces.

3) What does that have to do with any of this? It was mostly a joke, but Smoot is actually a guy that I think most people would enjoy hanging out with. Would you really want to have a drink with Henderson? Or trust him around cold medicine or your overweight daughter?

Maybe I'll just reference you to Charles Rhodes and Renardo Sidney, who both always taunted opposing fanbases. You do have us on the hypocrisy with the way everyone on here defended Sidney...

Derrick Zimmerman thinks Henderson has no balls...

Otherwise he would have stood on top of the scorer's table and celebrated with some class and dignity.
