Marshall opting out of Independence Bowl

College football is a very sad state of affairs.
I hear we have a good APR and are awaiting the call from Shreveport.*** They really want the best damn 2-10 team in the country!
Bowl games are going to be a thing of the past soon, and the only postseason will be the playoffs. The players and coaches don't care about them, and most fans don't really either.
They should expand the regular season to 13 games to make up for this.

It's not even very interesting anymore, at least not in the traditional competitive sense. It's interesting like watching an amusement park burn to the ground.
