What cardfan19 said. No reason at this point to expect anything different when you’re 0-6 and going against a team that is 6-0.

Hmmmmmmm, is it an understatement to say that Kenny Payne is in deep doo, doo? I think not. Question: Seriously, will KP survive until the end of the season? I know I'm running out of patience . . . . . . quickly.

GO CARDS!!!

Maryland plays 6 to 7 guys. They're starter reliant but there's tons of experience in that starting 5.

I expect the Cards to improve from the Maui trip and have more of a Cincinnati effort than the Texas Tech effort.

But still not near enough to win.

Definitely not an understatement. He needs something positive to happen soon - either several wins in these upcoming games to demonstrate some progress or to sign an impact recruit.

This team is must-watch TV/Basketball for all the wrong reasons. Hard to predict anything other than what we've seen so far. I'm surprised to see the spread move from -13 to -12. I'm expecting Willard to have his team ready to play so if the Cards do not bring it, they are in for another bad loss. Fully expecting Willard to try and negate El Ellis and force him into more turnovers.

From Rick Bozich WDRB: Arkansas coach Eric Musselman said his team's defensive game plan was to make U of L point guard El Ellis drive the ball, instead of giving him jump shots. The plan was to limit Ellis to less than 12 points. The plan worked. Ellis finished with 11 points as he missed 12 of 16 shots with 7 turnovers and 2 assists.

Until we see a team that is committed to playing consistently with some level of intensity and a sense of urgency on both ends of the floor, I'm expecting another lopsided loss. This team has not shown the ability or commitment to consistently playing hard with effort nor play defense for 40 minutes. They have shown short spurts of good offense and defense but not enough consistently. Until this team learns how hard they have to play - especially on defense... it's hard to predict a win.

Hope I'm wrong but I will be surprised if the Cards can keep it under 20.
