They spent multiple seasons at mid-majors developing their talent. Those guys weren't ready to get a lot of minutes at the top of P5 in year one.
I think he could be a good player, but where, and when? Those "developmental pieces" typically don't stick and the clock is ticking for Mark Pope to keep his job.

I actually like this commit and think he can be a quality depth piece and developmental player.
Where have I dogged him? List examples.
I do question why did he not have any good offers? Why he is ranked 125th in the composite ranking? I do not think he is an immediate impact player and that we will need a year or 2 at least to develop. None of that is dogging him.
You do realize there is this thing called the transfer portal, right? You can get proven, immediate impact players and even role players with more experience. That is high more valuable when it's make or break time. It not like the only options are hs players.

Arizona has 2 starters that are Freshman 5*s. Arky has 2 in Thomas and Acuff. Houston had 2 I believe. Illinois has a foreign freshman player that isn’t eligibile for rankings, but he was a euro pro.

I really think this kid is a solid of a recruit as you can reel in to start stabilizing our lineup.

If we only have 1 PG on the roster this year, then Pope is done. After the last 2 years with injured PG's, no excuses.

I’ve only seen his highlights online. However, from what I saw of his ball handing and driving ability, I saw things that no one on UK’s roster this past year could do. So, he’s an immediate upgrade at the point guard position over this past season.

He’s probably not going to be a contributor next year or we’re in big trouble. But if Pope doesn’t do well enough to get another year he’ll end up in the portal.

In the video, he had two assist and I saw two defensive plays. This guy's middle name is ME.

Not the worst thing in the world to add a 4 star PG with an NBA all-star dad. Let's hope he has some of his dad's game in him. Just hope Poop didn't promise him a starting spot or something.
