The number of people obsessed with whether not we should call this guy a terrorost or not is disturbing.

Just saw video (on Twitter) where you could hear full-auto fire in the background. Sounded chunky and slow... AK? Drum Magazine?

I am 100% speculating so the holier-than crowd in this thread can go ahead and pre-kiss my ***.

You guys without insomnia are not being fair.

Screw being fair.

This story was way different at 4 AM.

Fire rate sounded a lot like an M16. I really don't think it was an AK or variant.

BTW, prepare to hear how the shooter was a government operative and the deaths were faked. These Infowars stories have been the hardest part of bickering following events like this.

Didn't sound quick enough for an M16 to me. Slower cadence made me think it was a AK variant. M16 somewhere around 900 rounds per minute, AK somewhere around 600.

Might have converted a semi auto. That sounded like a lot of shots in a row though. I guess it could have been an extended mag.
This is worst case scenario for gun rights, IMO. I'd rather it be a legal class 3 than a modified trigger group. Opens A LOT of anti doors if so.

There are forces that want a civil war. Ignoring that does not change anything.
Are you part of those forces?

This is exactly what is so dangerous about Trump consistently making statements with no other purpose that to appeal to his base. It's one thing to do that when they are running for office. The POTUS has a responsibility to ALL of the citizens and serves the nation best by trying to unite people, not divide them. I didn't vote for Bob Corker but he has said the very same thing.

Went to YouTube and compared an AK to the footage of Aldean on stage. I think you're right.

You will be guilted for having an opinion
Re-posting incorrect information isn't an opinion. I get that the early stuff on the news/Twitter was wrong, I'm just disagreeing with your use of the word 'opinion'.

Barack Obama was very divisive. Not a peep.

So? Who gives a ****? It's all conjecture until the truth comes out in a few days. **** that holier than thou ****, man. It's a message board, not a public address.

The confusion came from both men being associated with the same woman.

I know there is always a fog early.

Most major news sources use catpaw as a info collector. Nail really created a shitstorm here. Should be banned.

I dunno, man. Looking at a pic of the scene, his room was every bit of 200+ yards from the concert. AK's have minute-of-pie plate accuracy, AT BEST, at 100 yards. Far worse than that in full auto, I'd reckon.

He did have an elevated position... but he had to have been just lobbing shots into the crowd.

But conjecture isn't an opinion. That's what's wrong with most of these events. Everyone likes to tell what they think instead of what they know. It's not holier than thou, it's understanding simple discourse and logic.

If Twitter and FB were around during 1996, Richard Jewell would have been shot on site or strung up from a cell tower.

Well that's simply not true. AK's have 4 inch group accuracy at 100 yards and you could easily hit a man sized target at 300 yards. Yes, full auto would make that much worse, but he was also shooting into a group of thousands of people in a relative small space.
